The Web Developer is responsible for the creation and support of innovative, integrated web and mobile solutions that enable our vision to ‘be the information provider of choice’. In a team environment you will analyze and troubleshoot complex business problems and provide solutions to overcome those problems using the latest technologies, ranging from mobile applications to digital asset repositories. Other responsibilities include:
• Implementing application and system improvements
• Communicating effectively with stakeholders to identify needs and evaluate alternative business solutions
• Coordinating with internal stakeholders to ensure development conforms to defined business requirements
• Working with external consultants and vendors to ensure project success and system health
Position requires a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and 2+ years of related experience, or in the absence of a bachelor’s degree, 5 years related experience. Candidates must have 5+ years experience in the web technologies, including C#, Java, Java Script, PHP, HTML, CSS, XML, Microsoft SQL or MySQL. 3+ years experience in developing data driven web applications and strong Web Services development and integration skills. Candidates must have strong knowledge of developing web sites, applications and services using a variety of technologies. Diverse programming language background desired.
