KCRG-TV9 is seeking a qualified individual for the position of Master Control Operator. This is an exciting opportunity to be involved with a locally owned company on the cutting edge of High Definition television broadcasting.
This position is responsible for monitoring multiple on-air products, operating broadcast audio/video equipment, setting up satellite feeds, dubbing commercials and other programs while ensuring a quality broadcast product.
Position requires a minimum two-year degree, or equivalent experience with emphasis on broadcast technology or computer technology, ability to effectively communicate, a basic understanding of broadcasting and the desire to stay current on ever-changing technology. Knowledge about FCC requirements for legal broadcast operations is desirable.
