The Gazette’s circulation department is seeking a motivated individual to coordinate the efficient operation of our Iowa City distribution center. Responsibilities include overseeing carriers, dispensing newspapers, route lists and carrier supplies. Supports dealers with weekly pick up of returns and payments. Assists with down routes and delivery of missing or damaged newspapers.
Candidate must have strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills. Must have a valid driver’s license, an acceptable motor vehicle record, proper insurance and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Must be able to work very early morning hours, including some weekends.
